The cooperative of Bova is born with the aim to produce typical wines of the area using the valuable autochthonous vines (Calabrese, known as Nerello Calabrese, Greco bianco and Guardavalle) and, at the same time, to give a push to the territory protection creating beneficial economical situations for the farmer of the area so they can re-cultivate the old vineyards today mostly not productive. Currently the partners of the cooperative own about 16 hectares of vineyard, partially re-implanted and partially productive; there are also vine-growers of the area selling their grapes. |
